Full Mouth Rehab Before & After Case 1

Full Mouth Rehab Before and After Pictures (Case 1) - Step-by-Step Transformation Gallery
This patient presented with severe periodontal disease and a compromised dentition with peri-implantitis on old dental implants. To re-establish the health of the previously placed implants, we performed soft tissue augmentation. To address the failing anterior maxillary teeth, we completed extractions and placed 5 new implants in the aesthetic zone. In the mandible, we extracted all remaining teeth and placed 6 implants to support a fixed prosthesis. We ensured that the patient was continuously involved in the design process of the final prostheses, revisiting her comfort and satisfaction with the temporary restorations throughout the course of treatment. Overall, we were able to restore peri-implant health, saving the patient from extensive surgical treatment to remove those implants, and we also created a beautiful and harmonious smile that allows the patient to chew and function normally.

Full Mouth Rehab Before & After Case 2

Full Mouth Rehab Before and After Pictures (Case 2) - Step-by-Step Transformation Gallery
After 25 years of frustration with her dentures, this patient came to our office for an opinion on getting implants. The patient stated that she had trouble tasting her food because of the denture covering her palate, and eating was a challenge because the dentures would constantly fall out of her mouth. After completing our exam and diagnostic work-up, we planned to place 6 implants in her upper arch which would receive new teeth in that same surgical appointment, possible due to the quality and amount of bone that she had, and these new teeth would not cover her palate like her old dentures. In the lower arch, we strategically placed 6 implants and preserved her existing teeth with veneers and crowns, ultimately providing support for her entire jaw without the need for a partial denture like she previously had. The patient’s only regret was not having this treatment done sooner.

Full Mouth Rehab Before & After Case 3

This patient came to our NYC office from Albany, NY with a chief complaint of wanting a full set of teeth that looked beautiful. The patient had multiple fractured teeth, an open bite, and malocclusion. The remaining teeth in the upper arch were not restorable, and we treatment planned an all-on-6 implant prosthesis in the maxilla. To establish an even bite, 4 additional implants were placed in the lower arch and the remaining lower teeth received veneers. The result of treatment was a harmonious bite that met all the patient’s expectations and allowed him to function with a proper occlusion.

Full Mouth Rehab Before & After Case 4

Full Mouth Rehab Before and After Pictures (Case 4) - Step-by-Step Transformation Gallery
This patient presented with failing bridges, multiple missing teeth, severely worn existing teeth and a collapsed bite. In the upper arch we treatment planned  4 implants in the posterior with new crowns and veneers on the existing front teeth to open his bite, and in the lower arch we planned an all-on-6 implant supported prosthesis with immediate delivery of a temporary prosthesis. With these new implant restorations and crowns we established the proper plane of occlusion with adequate posterior support in addition to a complete smile transformation. We also made the patient a nightguard to protect his new teeth from any nighttime grinding.

Full Mouth Rehab Before & After Case 5

Full Mouth Rehab Before and After Pictures (Case 5) - Step-by-Step Transformation Gallery
This patient had been seeing his family dentist over the years to treat dental problems when they arose. He presented to our office unhappy with the number of missing teeth he had and the asymmetry in his smile, which had various crowns and bridges with inconsistent coloring. Upon our examination, we noted a reverse smile line, failing restorations and multiple edentulous spaces. Utilizing a CT scan, digital scanning technology and smile design with diagnostic wax-up, we developed a comprehensive treatment plan. In the upper arch, we addressed the missing teeth with a 3-unit dental implant-supported bridge using 2 implants, a single implant and crown for his fractured canine tooth, and another single implant and crown for his first molar. In the lower arch we planned for 2 separate implant bridges using 3 implants to make a 4-unit bridge on the right side, and 2 implants on the left side to support a 3-unit bridge. To complete his smile makeover, we placed individual veneers and crowns on his remaining natural teeth. This combination of surgical and restorative treatment modalities allowed us to create a harmonious and symmetrical smile, transforming the patient’s entire appearance and leaving him overjoyed with his new look.
